Weight of the paper is usually determined by the nature of a print job. For example, a postcard will be printed on heavier stock than a letter. Weight is based on an industry standard of 500 sheets. So, if 500 sheets of paper weighs 120 pounds, then the paper will be referred to as having a 120 pound weight. You’ll never have to guess the correct weight for your print job, we will guide you through the entire process.
Die Cutting creates a design by using sharp steel cutting blades. Our die cutters are talented designers who can work from your custom layout or help you create an original layout and design. We meet your exacting standards and offer a broad range of standard cutting dies. Die cutting ensures consistency – each piece is exactly the same as another whether the printed material is paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, or wood.
Spot Color, used in conjunction with black, is a cost effective means of adding impact to any design. Our creative staff will work closely to help you achieve a dramatic effect and stay well within budget.
Coating may be employed for aesthetic as well as practical purposes. It can draw your customer’s attention to particular items and add depth to your printed piece. It can also be added as protection for jobs such as book covers, menus and folders to shield them from scuffing.
